Surface Treatment
 The surface treatment with aluminium oxide blasting,
followed by acid passivation, ideally combines
texture and porosity for an excelent biological effect,
providing conditions for osseous integration and
clinical success. The Dentoflex implants offer surface
rugosity up to 300 times greater than machine-made
surface, increasing up to 6 times the osseous-implant
contact surface and consequently better immediate
mechanical fixation.
Surface with hybrid treatment – Porous Surface
 Blasting with aluminium oxide plus acid attack.
This treatment offers better interlock between the implant and the
osseous tissue, by increasing the contact area. The two first spirals
are not blasted.

Cutting Design
 Progressive cutting, with rosette-shape notches. Blasting is not performed
on this part in order to maintain the cutting. |
Platform
 The internal hexagon platform implant – HI - is
more appropriate for unitary implants and small
screw fixed prosthesis from 2 to 5 teeth, or cement
fixed prosthesis over 5 teeth. |
 The external hexagon platform implant – HE - can
be used for unitary and extensive fixed prosthesis
– over 5 teeth – cemented or screwed. |

Utilization
 The implants and covering screws undergo a decontamination
process, then sterilized by 60 cobaltgamma
rays and presented in hermetically closed
triple packing. In order to keep its original condition,
the packing must only be opened in a sterile environment
(surgical area) and the implant must only
be handled with titanium or titanium nitride coated
instruments.
